ESENERG

Following more than a decade of activities of AES in Latin America, a strategic decision was made to complement these activities by the creation of independent organisations in the region. In 2004, ESENERG has been established in Asunción, Paraguay, as a regional office for Latin America, in particular the MERCOSUR region. ESENERG has been established as a partnership under Paraguayan civil law (sociedad civil), fostering the contact with and offering services to regional actors. The establishment of a regional office in the Andean Region and of a country office in Argentina are under consideration.
